Hello. I’m new to knitting and i loved this pattern so I wanted to give it a try. I’m having some trouble in that I can’t see the pattern on my dishcloth and I’m on row 36 Is this because I used a variegated yarn? Thanks for posting such beautiful patterns:)

    • Hm… Using variegated yarn could be the reason but the way the pattern is designed, it should be pretty noticeable. One thing I always do with my dishcloths is take the butt end of my needle and press it along the knit stitches. Doing this makes the purl stitches stand out more and the pattern more visible. If you are able to take and send me a picture, I may be able to troubleshoot better. And thank you! 🙂

In row one what does the (RS) stand for?
