Dew Drop Dishcloth

This pattern isn’t new but I just realized that I never posted it on here. Here you go:

Dewdrop Dishcloth

Materials:

1 ball of Pisgah & Yarn Dyeing Co. Peaches N’ Cream solid

(NOTE: Gauge is not really important for this project.)

Finished Size:

9 ½” x 7”

Directions:

CO 43 st.

Rows 1-4: Knit.

Row 5 (WS): k5, * p3, k3*; repeat * to * until 8 st remain. p3, k5.

Row 6: k3, p2, *k3, p3*; repeat * to * until 8 st remain. k3, p2, k3.

Row 7: Repeat row 5.

Row 8: k5, *yo, sl, k2tog, psso, yo, k3*; repeat * to * until 4 st remain, yo, sl, k2tog, psso, yo, k5.

Rows 9-11: Repeat rows 5-7.

Row 12: k3, k2tog, *yo, k3, yo, sl, k2tog, psso*; repeat * to * until 8 st remain. Yo, k3, yo, ssk, k3.

Repeat rows 5-12, four more times.

Knit 4 rows.

    If i wanted to make it smaller, how many stitches would i cast on instead of 43?
