Materials:

Size 7 (4.4mm) straight needles or size to obtain gauge

1 skein Lily Sugar ‘n Cream in chosen color

Measurements: Approx. 8” x 7”

Gauge: 32 st and 48 rows = 4” over St st

Pattern notes:

1. Gauge is not terribly important; however, the size of your dishcloth will be different than measurements above is gauge is different.

2. The chart includes a possibility for color work where the monograms are located; however, this is not reflected in the written instructions.

3. Chart is read right to left on odd rows and left to right on even rows.

Instructions:

CO 32 st.

Rows 1-4: Knit.

Rows 5-10: St st keeping the first 2 st and last 2 st in garter st.

Row 11: k2, p11, k6, p11, k2

Row 12: k12, p8, k 12

Row 13: k2, p9, k10, p9, k2

Row 14: k11, p4, k2, p4, k11

Row 15: k2, p2, k4, p3, (k3, p4) twice, k2, p3, k2

Row 16: k4, p4, k3, p3, k4, p3, k2, p6, k3

Row 17: k2, p1, k2, p2, k2, p3, k3, p4, k2, p2, k6, p1, k2

Row 18: k3, p3, k1, p2, k3, p1, k4, p3, k3, p2, k7

Row 19: k2, p5, k2, p4, k3, p7, k1, p3, k2, p1, k2

Row 20: k3, p2, k10, p4, k4, p2, p7

Row 21: k2, p2, k2, p1, k2, p5, k3, p10, k2, p1, k2
